Our Services

Our dedicated team of mental health professionals is committed to assisting individuals struggling with various mental health challenges. We understand the difficulties associated with seeking help and we commend you for taking the first step. 


Our mental therapy programs are designed to provide comprehensive assistance. Your mental health professional will address your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. We pride ourselves on having the highest quality of care, tailored to support individuals like you in their journey towards healing. We approach everyone with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to providing non-judgmental care.

We provide counseling to individuals of all ages, families and couples through integrated behavioral health services.


We provide information for and referrals to support groups, social service organizations, and other support services.


We provide referrals to inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities, and for psychological evaluations.


For community awareness, we conduct presentations to groups on mental health.

Behavioral health Providers

SHIRLEY CHESNUT, D.O., OSTEOPATHIC PHYSICIAN

Dr. Chesnut graduated from the Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery (now known as Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine) in 1980 and completed 2 years of residency before receiving her commission in the Public Health Service. She served as a medical office and medical director for the Indian Health Service in Jay and Miami for 12 years. She also provided behavioral health services and medication management for patients in medically under-served rural areas at Grand Lake Mental Health for 17 years.

SABRINA STEPHENS, APRN-FNP/PMHNP

Sabrina graduated from NEO A&M College with an Assoicate Degree in Nursing, University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Graceland University with a master's in nursing Family Nurse Practitioner and a master's in nursing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Sabrina's has gained knowledge and experience by working for various healthcare facilities from Tulsa to Joplin. From her experience, she has become highly educated in our diverse communities and their needs.

EMORY MITCHELL, LPC

  Emory graduated from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary with a Master of Art degree.  His training encompassed individual counseling as well as marriage and family therapy.  He currently provides individual, family, and marriage counseling for adults.  He also provides Christian counseling for clients who desire it.  Emory believes in a holistic approach to wellness.  He strives to encourage people to enhance their physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and relational well-being. 

KRISTIN WALKER, LPC, RPT, IMH-E

K.C. graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor's in psychology and Southern Nazarene University with a master's in professional counseling.  She is a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) provider, and she is an Infant Mental Health Endorsement® (IMH-E®) and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement® (ECMH-E®) consultant, providing 4 hours a month of hands-on support/observation as well as providing professional development. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is a member of NTHS Abuse and Neglect committee, the My Life/Man Up committee as the mental health board member, and she serves as Vice President of the Oklahoma Association of Play Therapy Board. K.C. serves children and families of all ages, including infant mental health. She utilizes play therapy with children and adults with childhood trauma.


JENNIFER BARNES, LCSW

Jennifer graduated from Missouri State University with a master's in social work and Pittsburg State University with a bachelor's in social work with a minor in Psychology. She has 29 years of experience with individual, group, couples’ and family therapy; crisis response and intervention; depression screening; mentoring, training and education to families, community, co-workers, managers, individuals and outside agencies.

Presley Goff, LCSW

Presley graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a bachelor's in social work and the University of Missouri Kansas City with a master's in social work. Presley is a member of the Oklahoma Association for Play Therapy. She has 7 years of experience working within urban and rural areas providing individual and family therapy for both adults and children.
