The Optometry Department operates as primary eye/vision care unit with consultation support from the medical practitioners. The Optometry department provides care to all ages with a broad scope of services, not to include contact lenses or vision therapy exams. Our emphasis in eye care is toward the co-management of diabetic and glaucoma patients. The Optometry department provides routine primary care and treatment of eye injuries, infections and disease. We operate an on-site, patient-pay dispensary for the convenience of the patients.
